This sherry cask-aged single malt was distilled in 2011 and 2012, matured for 12 years in seven first-filled and refilled Oloroso sherry casks, and bottled at cask strength (58.6%) in March 2024. It is freeze-filtered and naturally coloured, with a rich sherry bomb character.

Key Features

Nose: Spiced fruit cake, dried cherries, cinnamon snap, caramel.

Taste: The sweetness of raisins, marzipan, marmalade and honey-soaked wheat bread is harmoniously balanced with the spices of cinnamon, cloves and ginger.

Specifications: Cask numbers 505/507-510/525-527, limited to 4,517 bottles. Highly balanced and easy to drink.

Batch #3 was compared to #4 (distilled in 2012 and bottled in June 2024), with #4 noted to have "more refined dark cherry and prune notes," while #3 is said to have "higher alcohol integration and the complexity of European oak." Expert reviews gave it an "A-" rating, and sherry cask enthusiasts say it is "of the highest quality on the market." Batch #3, in particular, was produced in limited quantities, making it a collector's item.
