Our embossing plates are made using special molds to create a bumpy embossed pattern .

In addition, this mold is made to fit American license plates, which generally have seven characters .

Therefore, embossed plates can only display up to a maximum of seven characters .

We often receive inquiries asking, "I want to include more than eight characters somehow, is that possible?"

Unfortunately, it does not come as an "embossed plate."

This is because the shape of the embossing mold is fixed .

A mold is literally a metal mold , so it cannot be freely changed in shape .

However, with flat plates (flat prints) , you can include an unlimited number of characters !

Although it is no longer a bumpy embossed design, we do offer a "flat plate" that has been printed on a flat surface .

With flat plates , no mold is required and the letters are simply printed on a flat surface , allowing for flexible adjustment .

If your name has more than eight characters , please consider using a flat plate .
