A teapot by Yutaro Yamada that makes the most of the characteristics of Tokoname ware
Yutaro Yamada's teapots are characterized by sophisticated designs that incorporate a modern sensibility while respecting the traditions of Tokoname ware. The moment you pick one up, you'll be amazed by its lightness and intricacy. The light, thin teapots provide an amazing fit, and the way they fit comfortably in your hand makes them feel like an extension of your own.
Yutaro Yamada's teapots are a perfect blend of practicality and beauty. The shape of the spout, the placement of the handle, and the comfort you feel every time you use them all give his works a special charm. These teapots are beautiful to look at, but their charm is further enhanced when you actually hold them in your hands.
Tokoname ware is known for its red clay and highly transparent glaze. Yutaro Yamada makes the most of Tokoname's red clay and treasures the warmth that comes from it. His teapots, made with this clay, exude a warmth that truly relaxes you when you hold them in your hand. The earthy texture of the clay and the soft texture that emerges after firing envelop the user.
Yutaro Yamada has also developed his own unique glaze, which maximizes the characteristics of Tokoname ware while incorporating new sensibilities. As a result, his teapots have a captivating sheen and a beautiful texture that seems frozen in time. The lustrous shine of the glaze makes you appreciate its beauty every time you use it.

Tokoname ware pieces are light, precise, and beautiful
Yamada Yuutaro's creations are made as light and thin as possible. Not only is their lightness easy to use, but the attention to detail in their designs also makes them visually pleasing. Beautiful from any angle, they are like works of art, and you are drawn in by their beauty every time you pick them up. Meanwhile, in addition to being easy to pour and hold, the interior design, which allows the tea leaves to spread naturally, provides a comfortable experience for the user. All of these elements come together in harmony within a single piece, and its true value is revealed in everyday use.

*As these are handmade, there may be individual differences in color and shape. Please enjoy the unique texture that can only be achieved through handcrafting.
