This is based on a California license plate.

In fact, this design is a fictitious San Francisco design that does not actually exist.

The design features San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Bridge, and orders have already begun to be taken.

However, while a minimum of 7,500 orders were required for production, only around 350 orders were received, and the plan was scrapped.
