Edradour No.2 - 2018/2025 - 7 yo - 1st Fill Sherry Butts - Inaugural Release SV is a milestone celebrating the expansion of the Edradour distillery, distilled in 2018 at the new No.2 facility and bottled in 2025 by Signatory Vintage to celebrate their 200th anniversary.
This Highland Single Malt is matured for seven years in first-fill Oroso sherry casks and bottled at 57.1% ABV. It is uncoloured and unchill-filtered to preserve its rich texture. Its strong sherry influence is in keeping with the bold Edradour tradition of Perthshire's small-batch whiskies.
Tasting Notes: The nose and palette are dominated by sherry fruits such as raisins, dates, raisins and figs, layered with nuts, chocolate cherries, honey and spices such as cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. The finish adds tobacco, cocoa and toffee, making it an intense flavour for sherry lovers.
